Remember the 90s?
By Erica J. Dymond
If you are an old-school gamer, you may recall the glut of "cheap" controllers that flooded the market following the popularity of the PS1. They were kitchy colors and designs, but flimsy and sometimes unresponsive. Madcatz made some of these (that name might take you back to the old days!). Well, the second I saw this handle, I had a flashback to 1990s. It is a clearly unlicensed product for the PS3 (thus the words "compatible with" in the description). It has none of the finesse of a Sony controller. Moreover, it looks like a mottled mess with stickers on it (they are not stickers though). Very "homemade" in appearance. Perhaps its biggest offense is that it uses three batteries ... it does not contain a rechargeable lithium ion battery. (And, the batteries are not included). To be blunt, I have not seen a controller in over six years that still uses regular batteries. What a waste! And, even if you elect to use rechargeable batteries, there is still "down time." Good grief! For $40.00 ($4.00 less than a licensed, lithium ion, rechargeable controller), the manufacturer should be embarrassed.Obviously, this is using The Rock's image to sell inferior products. You and your children will want it because it feature a great athlete/celebrity. (That's why we bought it). The compromise is that while you get that, you also get a bad, battery-filled, train-wreck of a controller. And, this does appear to be a WWE licensed product (which I know should not surprised us WWE fans, but I would hope for better quality-control from such a huge enterprise). So, if what you desire is another item in your WWE collection, this makes sense. If you want to use it for gaming, this is not your controller.

Comfortable, but wish it could be plugged in.
By Antonio
This controller doesn't feel super bulky like most third party game accessories. It keeps a charge for good period of time and was a piece of cake to sync up. The only draw back is that it doesn't come with a plug connection on top so you have to keep batteries on hand. Would be perfect if you could plug it in.
