This is not the product pictured!

This product is not a stand it is a small fan that plugs in to the USB port on the front of the console it does not even have enclosed blades or any way to attach it to the console except the plug in. I had to call customer service twice only to be told the product shown in the pictures is not sold by amazon but by independent sellers through amazon marketplace. The item that is delivered after ordering this product is called a "Cooling fan for PS3" by CTA digital. I took them at their word and ignored the product description. It says nothing about a stand only a fan. If you want a stand do not buy this product! This is the actual product being sold [...]

I bought the fan thinking it would be useful for the PS3. But only came in the box base, the cable did not come to power. Now I get the cable separately, it seems unfortunate that the announcement did not indicate that the cable does not come with the base.regards[...]

cooling fan stand

i needed a ps3 cooling fan, & i also needed a ps3 stand, well here i got both in 1, great. the fan blows kinda low with some noise but it does its job. I recommend it.
