PS3 Move Triple Port Charge Station for Controllers and Sixaxis Controller
Product Description
Keep your PlayStation Move Controllers as well as your Sixaxis Controller fully charged, and ready to use, while keeping everything organized in a small, elegant charging station. Since Sony PlayStation 3 Controllers and Move controllers (The Navigation Controller and the Motion Controller) have internal rechargeable batteries, operating this charging base is simple. Just stand the Move controllers vertically on the base, and rest your Sixaxis controller on the base as well. You can recharge your controllers, without having to plug cables into them, or your PlayStation 3 Console. This Charging Station is powered by an AC adapter, which means nothing will have to occupy a USB ports on your console in order to recharge all your gear.

Awkward design, delicate to use
By Bruce Carlson
The idea of a single powered port to charge all three of the Playstation Move's DualShock3/SixAxis controller, Move controller and Navigation controller sounds like a perfect trifecta. The slim external power supply plugs into the wall AC outlet as usual. The Move Controller stands vertical in a depression, allegedly supported by a couple of spring-loaded pressure pads around the circular port. It's not very stable and has a tendency to fall over at the slightest disturbance, such as when plugging the DualShock3/SixAxis controller into its charging port, but it does charge. The Navigation controller doesn't have enough weight to seat firmly in either charge port, and only charges if I stand there and press down lightly on it. (It would appear a second Move controller could charge in the second spot instead of the Navigation controller, if you have two Move controllers and no Navigation controller.) The Dualshock3/Sixaxis controller connects firmly to a fixed mini-USB plug on the device and charges fine (might have been more convenient for that mini-USB plug to be on the opposite side from the power cord, so the power could go off to the rear and the Dualshock controller could plug into the easily accessible front, but that's a small point.)There are bright LED lights ringing the two Move controller charge ports, which change colors according to charge. That's a useful indicator, but it's so bright it illuminates a darkened room like a night light.Summary: Charges the Dualshock3 and Move controllers fine, has trouble with the lighter-weight Navigation controller.

Too fragile
By Norns
The tiny metal contacts that touch the base of the Move controllers that are necessary for charging broke off after only 2 weeks of use. I guess you get what you pay for.

Good product with a small annoyance
By dpearson588
I figured this would be a good addition to my new Move set up. The playstation eye takes up one of the two usb ports on the slim PS3 so you are left with the option of only charging one other controller at a time. This item circumvents that problem by allowing me to charge 3 controllers without the system on.Like another review stated, the system is kind of delicate to the touch. I don't have the navigation controller so I cannot confirm that problem, but the Move controllers took a little finagling to get on the charger. Once you set it in there correctly with a little force they stay in and charge fine. I found the wrist strap can easily get in the way. It is very handy having the port on the back to charge the dual shock as well.My main problem with this device is the LEDs used to indicate what state the charge is in. They are very bright and stay on as long as the station is plugged in. If the controllers are charged or no controllers are present the lights are a bright blue, when the controllers are charging they are bright red. This is annoying when watching tv (I placed the station behind the tv to hide it) and when it is dark in the room. I wish there was a way to turn those off or completely remove them. I've come to the conclusion to just unplug it when it's not really in use. There is no real point to have the controllers constantly plugged into the wall or have the lights constantly on anyway.Overall I would recommend this product other than the slight annoyance with the lights. It is a nice way to charge everything at once and a nice stand for the Playstation Move controllers to stay in while they are not in use.
