Get what you pay for, but does work

This is one of those "you get what you pay for" products. For the price, it is worth the chance of buying. This charger does charge the controllers, and it is nice that I can use one and have the other charging without cables all over the place. There is something that rolls around the inside of the charger when you move it around, my guess it happened during shipping. The seller shipped the item in a white mail bag with no bubble wrap.... just the charger inside of a bag. Not good for electronics. Also, the promised USB cable did not come with my charger. Multiple emails have been sent without much resolution. A promise of sending another, but nothing ever showed up.Overall, if you want to save some cash from the official Sony charger, I would certainly spend the few dollars to get this charger. It does work, but feels cheap and may not last very long. Right now mine works great and does what I need it to do... no more, no less.

I bought this before reading the other reviews so I received it with trepidation. When I got this item, it was poorly packaged and thusly the corner was chipped off. When I brought this up with the seller, they immediately sent a new one, better packaged, and had me keep the damaged product anyway (so now I have a backup!). It was a Christmas gift for my fiancée and he’s been using it ever since. So far, it’s survived three months of regular (but gentle) use. For the price, it seems to be a good buy…so far. I guess I’m only giving this 4 stars due to apprehension of its longevity.

We love this item. It's a great charger to have in a house of gamers! We've only been using it for about 2 weeks and no problems. Hope it stays that way. I say it's worth the great price!
