4awesome!
By Jon1234
So this is my first gaming headset that I've ever owned, now I've never used any other type of head set for playing video games or for anything for that matter, but this one is actually pretty good (or at least that's my opinion) for the price tag. I originally planned to get the bundle with the negotiator but for some reason I changed it and now I'm starting to think that, that wasn't such a good ideathe little mic the head phones have looks like it would work really well, it pulls out and reaches all the way to my mouth and it seems like I wouldn't have to talk as loud while playing. The headset itself is very light weight but doesn't feel cheap, and the ear covers are very soft and keep my ears warm while playing :)Sound cancellation isn't as great as some noise canceling headsets I tried on at a best buy, but it's decent, while playing a game, you won't hear a thing other than the game of courseWhen I used for the first time, them I played black ops, because it was the game I was playing at the time. but during an online match, I did really well while wearing them, I could hear peoples foots steps more easily then with my surround sound on loud or wearing my cheap ear buds and got so many kills. One bad thing that I noticed is that its bass is very low, or dim, or I don't know how to explain it but I tested a song on my mp3 player and for the most part, music sounds nice, but not the best it can be. But overall it is a great headset to own to play games or listen to music on the street

2The description should be more clear that you need to buy additional equipment to use it with actual gaming systems

In tiny blink and you miss it words it says compatible with PS3 with optional nox adapter. At an additional $33 cost this headset isn't the bargain it looked like. With more up front explanation that this headset is for PC ONLY as it stands, I might have bought a different brand. I'm a bit peeved, and my son cannot play with his Christmas present on Christmas.

4Great For The Price
By kn
I personally love these headsets. I did not buy them from Amazon, but from a retail store but decided to give them a review here since there were so many bad reviews. First of all I've had mine for a couple of MONTHS already and they still work perfectly. I'm not the neatest person either, sometimes i just throw these on the floor when I'm done using them lol. The sound is GREAT. I have Beats Audio on my laptop and the sound comes out wonderfully through these headsets. I do play a lot of games that require speaking online using TS, Vent, Skype, etc and considering the price of these headphones, the mic does its job. Its not as perfect as $100+ headphones of course; but for less than $20 these are pretty damn good. When I'm not venting, or using these for my Ipod, the mic conveniently retracts. The only thing i did not like about it is when you put the volume down, it doesn't go all the way to mute. Which is annoying because if someone wanted to talk to me irl, I would actually have to take it of my head to hear them. In that note, they do cancel noise pretty well. These are also not usb headphones. To end this review I would like to say, of course these aren't as great as $100 headphones but are definitely worth for the price. If you are looking for starter gaming/chatting headsets, simple mic, pretty decent sound, these are the headphones for you.
