It does the job! it is easy to install and really works! Now I don't need to worry to leave my controllers around for someone to accidentally press the PS button that would also turn the PS3 on for a couple hours... and of course saves some money on the "stand by" power consumption...

dont know why sony took out the switch in the first place but thats for this company for make this so i can turn off the ps3 completely off.
