Worth every penny for me! (cheap cables did not charge controller)

I purchased a 40gb ps3 that came with 2 sixaxis controllers and 2 usb cables(cheap ones). These cables worked fine for the six-axis but they DID NOT WORK for charging the dualshock3 controllers. I tried all the ports on my computer, ps3, usb wall charger, and the mini b wall charger. I also tried resetting the controller, resetting the ps3. I finally resorted to opening the controllers up, and swapping the charged battery from a six-axis to the dualshock and putting the depleted battery back in the six-axis to charge it. I bought 2 controllers for $30 each last year and took them back thinking they were defective, a few months later I purchased 2 controllers for $43 each. Then I heard of someone having the same problem and they told me to buy the energizer cable or a sony brand cable. I found one of these used for $7 and it completely eliminated my charging issues. If I had bought this cable to start out with, I would have $19 more in my pocket right now (including the price of the cable). Don't listen to anyone whining about the price of this cable. It's worth a few extra dollars to avoid the hassle I went through.
