I was worried when reading the reviews, but has worked perfectly

When reading the reviews for this product, it was a little scary and alarming that people were saying it didn't work with the playstation eye as that was one of the main reasons I was buying this product. I bought it anyways in hopes it worked better than most were saying and I'm pleased to let all of you know that this media hub has worked amazingly since day one and has always worked with my playstation eye. I will change my review if it changes, but I'm happy I bought it and happy I didn't go with anything else. Doesnt look to bad attached to the system too!

Almost perfect, one major flaw: Does not work with Eye camera.

This fits the PS3 slim perfectly, and even has retention clips so it doesn't pop out when you add/remove devices. It generally works exactly as it should - with one _major_ exception. You cannot use a PS Eye camera through this hub. This is a much bigger problem now that the PSmove has been released. When the eye is connected, its blue LED will come on but when attempting to test/configure the camera, the PS3 will complain a non-USB 2.0 compliant hub is attached. If you try to calibrate a motion controller, it will always fail since the camera cannot be started. I mentioned it has retention clips: it can be a slight pain to remove it when wanting to use the camera (not to mention the entire purpose of having enough ports to e.g. keep the camera attached all the time is defeated).It sure would be nice if Nyko could fix this..looks like the same problem existed on the older hub for the PS3-fat too.*Update: Nyko support insists that it _is_ compatible with the eye, and suggested I exchange it. I did so, and it still doesn't work. I've tested two of this item, against two different PS3 slims, and with two _different_ eye cameras, in all combinations, even with reassigning controllers to higher ID numbers - and trust me, it does NOT work.I cannot recommend purchasing this item, but if somehow they prove to me it does work with the eye, after I verify that, I'll happily reverse my stance on this otherwise excellent item.

I got this because after switching from the 60g launch to the 320 slim I needed more usb ports. I am now able to use my usb headset, the PS Move and charge a controller at once. I made sure to check that it worked with the ps eye and it does(for me). The remote control for the blueray is an added bonus. I recommend.
