Perfect for LCD/Plasma with Composite Inputs

I recently bought this as a second cable for our 47" Vizio LCD (VO47LFHDTV). My daughter has a PS2 she usually plays in her bedroom TV but we sometimes bring the PS2 into the living room for some fun on the bigger screen. This cable allowed us to avoid swapping cables behind the TV. This cable stays plugged into the Vizio so all we have to do is move the PS2 console. Boy, does this give off a sharp signal! Try playing LEGO-Star Wars saga or your favorite DVD through this connector.ATTENTION: WHILE THE AD STATES THAT THIS IS A PLAYSTATION 3 COMPONENT + COMPOSITE A/V CABLE, IT DOES WORK WITH PLAYSTATION 2!!!

My PS2 used to be connected by the old composite cables that came with it to my 32" HDTV and the picture was horrible. The graphics of most PS2 games were dull and lack luster and the in-game text was blurry. In my personal experience it was so bad that playing old PS2 games gave me headaches. I bought this in hopes for any type of improvement and to my surprise I was astonished by how beautiful some PS2 games came out. The colors were more vibrant and the graphics were more crisp. Best of all the in-game text were absolutely clear! Now I'm able to play old games without worrying about getting headaches.This cable works wonders and is able to bring out the PS2's full potential of displaying games in widescreen 480p and letting you enable Progressive Scan in some games.The one feature I have not tried yet with this cable is connecting it to a PS3 since I do not currently own one.

The cable worked great with Guitar Hero World Tour. You have to remember to change the display settings in the game. Not all PS2 games can output different video formats and the built-in dvd player on the PS2 will only do 480i so just be aware of that.
